P1 Test Facility Lampoldshausen Germany

Test facility for hot - firing small rocket engines up to 600 N thrust

 

The P1 facility enables the high altitude hot-fire testing of small propulsion having a thrust level from 0.5 N to 600 N. This facility is used for testing both monopropellant and Bipropellant thrusters.

  • 17 N thruster cold gas tests.
  • 22 N bipropellant thruster development tests (sea level and vacuum).
  • 400 N bipropellant apogee boost motor qualification and acceptance testing.
  • 400 N apogee engine.
  • 500 N European Apogee Motor.
